This is an ancient medieval silver ring dating back to Ca 1400 AD making this ring approximately over 600 years old.  The centre bezel has a depiction of a creature or spirit of mythological importance.  

Provenance:  It was acquired from a specialist London gallery and is certified by an expert.  It came from a private UK collection, then from an old collection from Oxford formed in the 1990's
