£395.00These are authentic vintage Chanel clip-on earrings, set with a large domed faux pearl within a polished gold-tone surround.
The border is formed entirely from repeating interlocking CCs, so the house monogram encircles the pearl. Pearl and gold is the most enduring Chanel pairing of all, drawn from the ropes of pearls Gabrielle Chanel made her signature, and it remains the look most buyers picture when they think of the house.
Dating from 1994, these come from the years when Chanel's costume jewellery studio was led by Victoire de Castellane, the period collectors now regard as the strongest in the house's fashion jewellery.
The reverse carries the Chanel oval cartouche stamped 94 P, dating them to the Spring 1994 collection, alongside the copyright and registered trademark marks and Made in France.
